MOTORCYCLE MECCA

After we left the Mountain House in Beech, we drove west to ride THE TAIL OF THE DRAGON.

It is an 11 mile long stretch of road with over 300 turns in it.

Base camp for THE TAIL OF THE DRAGON is Deal's Gap Motorcycle Resort.

The Tree of Shame has bits and pieces of riders who have wrecked on the DRAGON.

A word of caution, you might say.

It was going to be way to difficult to get the 3rd bike off the trailer (There were ATVs in the way) so I just rode Bitch on the back of Dad.

But Chris was nice enough to let me borrow his Buel when we got to the end of the run. He just sat and chilled for a bit while I ran back up and down some of the DRAGON on his bike.

The most amazing road I've ever been on.
