JOEY WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS

Grandma's got me!
What's Austin doing over there?

Come on Dad, just a sip.

I can do this myself.

See, told ya.

Grandma is used to watching babies make a mess.
I spy Grandpa, smiling in the background.

Joey loves her Tia Maria.

Mommy! Put me down so I can go have more fun!

ADULT SUPERVISION??

All children love Andy.

Look at that lip!
Toy central.

Apparently Mike's feet really stink.

Austin likes Joey's rollie doggie.
Every time I looked, there was a kid with a Cheetos.

Don't you wanna know what she's sayin'?
Just hangin' around.
Joey was supervising Pat playing in the water. Yes, I said that right.

I really have no idea. Look, Cheetos.
Sophie & Madison
First time Maddie played on a "motorized" vehicle.

She loves her GiGi.

I just love this pic. And Madison obviously loved the blue icing.

THE LITTLIN'S

I have too many b-day pics to post all at once, and don't rightly know how to categorize them.
So here are the littlins'. Sans grown-ups. Littlins' with grown-ups will be next.

Madison almost doesn't count. After all she is 6, and is a very grown up little 6 year old.

Racing around... and around... and around with Jo Jo on the rollie doggie.

The kids killed the cheetos.

All of the kids had fun on Joey's Kawaski.

Austin is fixing it.

This pic was BEFORE he managed to swing himself upside down.

I'm King of the World!
Austin thought the bidet was a urinal.
He missed.

RIDE FOR KIDS 2010

The Craven & Meyers families are raising money, in memory of Jimmy, for this year’s Ride For Kids Event.

The Ride For Kids event raises money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, a nonprofit organization that funds the research that will someday cure our children of brain cancer.

Our goal this year is $5,000!

If you would like to make your donation by credit card on a secure site, you may do so online at:

Online is defiantly the easiest way to donate!

The next South Florida Event will be held on Valentine’s Day, Sunday Feb 14, 2010 at Coral Springs SportsPlex, 2575 Sportsplex Dr., Coral Springs, FL 33065. For more information, follow this link: http://www.sfrideforkids.org/

If you, or someone you know, is interested in riding at this year’s event or volunteering, please contact me.

If you are interested in joining a ride in your part of the USA, please follow this link http://www.pbtfus.org/rideforkids/calendar/2010/ to find a ride closest to you and it’s scheduled date.

Thank you for your support, your donation, and above all, for caring about kids like Jimmy.

The Craven & Meyers Family

... I'LL GET IT!

So I was on the toilet counting to two, when the phone rang.

Joey was in her bedroom, ripping up the alphabet-mat-thingy on her floor. I could hear her stop what she was doing when the phone rang. I wasn't near finished so I just let it ring.

A little bit after the phone finished ringing, Joey came toddling in and handed me the remote.

To those of you who aren't impressed yet, the portable phone had been in the basket on Mark's nightstand UNDER the remote she brought me. (As far as she could make out, it was the remote that was ringing, and it looks like the portable phone anyways.)

We are that much closer to Joey being able to bring her daddy a beer. (That is a developmental milestone that Mark is REALLY looking forward too.)

BIRTHDAY CAKE

Okay, first of all, I'd like to thank Maria for all of the fabulous pictures I will be posting in the next several days. I'd also like to thank Michael for all the... um, ... other pictures. We'll call them funny, for right now.
I have entirely too many pics for one blog entry. So, this first one is all about the cake.
Other entries will follow.

She didn't know what to make of all those people staring and singing at her.

1st taste.
(Yellow cake with chocolate butter cream icing and pink decorative frositng.)

Oh yeah.
That's good.
Not exactly thinking about her girlish figure right now.

She had frosting boogers for 2 days after this.
She is usually good about sharing.

Sometimes she shares even when people don't want here to.

Look, she is color cooridnated, even when making a mess.

She had no intention of stopping. I finally had to take the cake from her.
But she had enough left over on her hands and her lap to continue eating for a while.
I'll have you know, she did NOT have a tummy ache afterwards.
That's my girl!
Now she is ready for 4 bags of cotton candy at the Dade County Youth Fair!

Now don't you just wanna eat her? I mean really!
But of course, we can't forget the ice cream!
You gotta have ice cream with your cake.
