A POEM LOVELY AS A TREE

We went hiking in the (Alfred) Joyce Kilmer memorial forest that was near Deal's Gap.
The poem that he is known for:
Such a beautiful forest! It is a designated wilderness, so as such, dead trees are not removed.
Joey is such a good hiker, she led the way and still set a fast, adult pace up and down those trails!
Sam swears she could have kept up.
Grandpa doesn't understand how to "wind down" the kids before bed.

Hi Mommy Michelle! I found your blog as I was doing some internet research on how to ride the auto-train with an infant :) I saw you live in Miami which is where my husband, my daughter (Amelia - one yr old) and myself are relocating to this July. I wondered if you have any tips on traveling the train with the baby. Didnt see a contact for you on your blog so i thought the best way to ask would be to post. Also this is a lovely poem :) My email is valerie.pantanelli@gmail.com - if you have time would you mind giving me some advice on how to make the train trip easier with our daughter? Thanks so much!! Val :)
