PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN

That's Captain Joey to you!
Grandpa decided that Joey was getting to the age where she should learn how to drive a boat.
So he bought one her size.

Apparently our current boats were too big, so he bought a 17 ft Carolina Skiff.
We call it Jomantha, as it is really for both of them.
So Joey took us out on her boat a few Sundays ago.
We actually went boating in Miami... something we haven't done in years!
We set out of Blackpoint and headed to Elliot Key.
This was Samantha's 1st boat ride.
All babies I know love boating. The fresh salty sea air, the rhythm of the boat, the roar of the engine and being held the whole time... all of them drift off and stay fast asleep.

The lighthouse was closed for renovations.
That little Skiff did wonderfully with the bay chop, though it is obviously designed for flats fishing and calmer waters.
 A nice Sunday afternoon.
